We spend a lot of time trying to change our circumstances. We want the better job, the healed relationship, the answered prayer, the open door.
Consider this - perhaps what needs to change first isn’t the situation, it’s the way we see it.

Perspective is a skill.
Two people can experience the same disappointment and walk away with completely different stories. One sees failure. Another sees feedback. One sees a closed door. Another sees redirection. One asks, “Why is this happening to me?” Another asks, “What can I learn from this?”
The circumstances may be identical. The perspective isn’t.
The Bible invites us to see beyond what is immediately in front of us. Paul reminds us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). That renewal changes more than our thoughts - it changes how we interpret our lives.
Perspective doesn’t mean pretending everything is fine. It means refusing to let one difficult chapter become the definition of the whole story.
Sometimes you need to step back, breathe, pray and look again.
Perhaps the situation hasn’t changed but maybe you have ... And THAT, dear friends, changes everything. I will not say it if I haven't lived it.
Many blessings,
Wendy A.
